Michael Funge, A member of Ireland’s Famed Group “The Irish Variety Show” wasborn in County Wexford, in the South East of the Emerald Isle. When he is not touring with"The Irish Variety Show ", he plays gigs all over Northern and Central Florida.

He has been the opening act for many of the great Irish Artists, Christy Moore, Johnny McEvoy, “The Wolf Tones”, Daniel O’Donnell, Colum Wilkinson (of “Les Miserables” fame), ComedianDave Allen, Foster & Allen, the late Frank Patterson and many more.
He has performed many times on RTE, (Irish Radio & TV )and on BBC and ITV (British TV and Radio).
He has regularly toured The United States, appearing in venues and halls, large and small, from; San Francisco, The Opera House Chicago, Washington, New York, Boston. One of his proudest moments was appearing on stage in The Carnegie Hall N.Y. for St. Patrick’s Day Celebration Concert. He has of course appeared in the “other” Carnegie Hall.
Appeared on stage at some of the largest US Irish Festivals.
Has had six "sell out" tours of New Zealand and Australia with Barry Collins and“The Irish Variety Show”.
